Due to different factors during the corrugated and gluing process, lateral displacements cause unequal gluing of the paper, as well as a big lose when laterals are cut.
The web aligner has the following basic components:
Electric wardrobe
Two servomotors
Photocells or Digital detection (Laser)
The electric wardrobe has inside all the operation, control and all of the necessary signals for this application. The servomotors are located at each side of the paperboard, linked by means of a shaft, their response is instantaneous when there is an impulse coming from the photocells. The behaviour is completely smooth, rectifying and cantering the paperboard.

Without Intermediate Automaton:
The synchronization between the two servomotors is made in autocorrective direct mode (without intermediate automaton controlling the process). It is based in a fast net of communications CT NET that controls both servomotors. The difference with others web aligners is that the contact surface is bigger due to the separation between wheels, this allows us to increment the precision and the velocity when the aligner has to correct the deviation of the paperboard. For the detection of the deviations we can set up photocells or the other possibility is a digital system (using a laser), this system reads 60 times per minute.
With our web aligner the productive performance can be increased, because there is no necessity to reduce the velocity when the length of the web changes. The time of reaction and alignment it’s just tenths of seconds, avoiding possible brakes of the web.
